WW1 1914/15 STAR Medal Trio

Painter Henry Spooner P.T.R.1 345645 Royal Navy

Henry was born 19/10/1873 in Guildford and joined the Navy at the relatively late age of 28 in October 1902, he went on to have a long career and served on many ships, most notably HMS Invincible pre-war and HMS Implacable in WW1.

The photocopy of HMS Invincible (photo 1 & 2) was taken whilst anchored at Spithead in June/July 1909 and Henry would have almost certainly been aboard at the time.

The rank of PTR (Painter) is a rare and unusual one.

100% Original

I also include a copy of his service record, medal entitlement and photocopy photos of HMS Invincible & HMS Implacable

Very good condition, replacement ribbons but I include the original ones also
