'Going to Market'

 A lovely and typically tranquil rural scene painted by Henry Fox which depicts a simpler way of life.

 The artist was born in London and lived mainly in Kingston upon Thames and was well regarded for his scenes of the rapidly disappearing countryside way of life, exhibiting at the RA from the young age of 25 and elected a full member of the RBA he was a regular exhibitor at many institutes and galleries.

 Frame size 22" x 17 1/2" 

Painting size 14 1/4" x 10 1/2" 

Good condition, some minor colour fading but displays very well, ready to hang, new acid free mount, frame has some wear
