New Etchings

Added to the shop today are two superb etchings, one by the highly sought after 20C British etcher Anthony Gross, the other by Scottish late Victorian artist Frank Laing.

Born in Dulwich Anthony Gross interestingly was a war artist and actually joined the D-Day invasion, landing at Arromanches, an associate of the RA he received a CBE in 1982.

Frank Laing was a Scottish painter and etcher, specifically known for his topographical views of his home country as well as European views, he exhibited widely but sadly passed at a young age, his works are well collected.

All the best. Jim
